Job Description

Tax Management

  • Manage all aspects of tax inspections, filings, and returns to guarantee compliance with both local and international tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies aimed at optimizing tax efficiency and reducing associated risks.

            Financial Reporting & Closing

  • Supervise the monthly and annual financial closing processes, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive monthly financial packages to senior management for informed decision-making.

             Asset & Lease Management

  • Oversee the accounting of fixed assets, Right-of-Use assets, and Property Under Construction, ensuring full compliance with IFRS

        Audit & Compliance

  • Act as the primary liaison with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and resolve any findings efficiently.
  • Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and all regulatory requirements.

       Intercompany & Transfer Pricing

  • Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations, as well as maintain proper transfer pricing documentation to ensure compliance with group policies and local laws.

      Process Improvement & Risk Management.

  • Design, implement, and continually monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate financial risks effectively.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve financial processes, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least three years in a controllership or similar leadership role.
  • Experience with a Big Ten audit firm is considered a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and transfer pricing.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for candidates experienced in Odoo.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with financial modeling and reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization.
