Job Summary
The Branch Manager at The Barber is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high grooming standards, and leading the team to deliver a premium client experience. This role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and a passion for hospitality and men’s grooming.
The ideal candidate will act as the link between top management and branch staff, ensuring company standards are upheld while driving smooth, efficient, and profitable operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Branch Management
- Oversee daily salon operations to ensure smooth workflow and optimal service delivery.
- Ensure the branch complies with company policies, grooming standards, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational or facility-related issues on the premises.
- Implement instructions and initiatives communicated by top management.
Team Leadership & Scheduling
- Manage employee scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
- Supervise, motivate, and support barbers and front-desk staff to maintain high performance.
- Address staff issues professionally and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Assist in onboarding and training new employees when required.
Customer Experience & Quality Control
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards and ensure consistent service quality.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regular and VIP clients to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Track inventory levels for grooming products, tools, and supplies.
- Coordinate timely reordering to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products and equipment.
Reporting & Coordination
- Provide regular updates to management on branch performance, challenges, and improvement areas.
- Monitor service quality, attendance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in men’s grooming, salon management, or a similar service-based environment.
- Proven experience in staff supervision and customer service management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service excellence.
