Job Description

• Oversee and manage all on-site electrical engineering activities to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall construction plans.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry codes and safety regulations.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents to guide site execution.
• Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies encountered during construction, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Monitor and control project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify workmanship and compliance with safety protocols.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive site reports, documentation, and as-built records for all electrical works.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of electrical materials and equipment.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and site technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in electrical site engineering within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing electrical works on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Experience with installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience supervising site teams.
• Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
