Job Description
Job Summary
The Financial Analyst supports the finance team in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and performance tracking. The role focuses on analyzing financial data, supporting monthly closing activities, and providing insights to help management make informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyze revenues, costs, margins, and operational KPIs
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform variance analysis between actual results and budgets/forecasts
- Prepare financial dashboards and presentations for management
- Support month-end closing activities and reconciliations
- Assist in tracking branch and business unit performance
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies
- Coordinate with accounting, operations, and other departments as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- Basic knowledge of financial modeling
- Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar is a plus)
- Power BI or data visualization tools are a plus
Soft Skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Team player with a proactive attitude
Willingness to learn and grow within the finance function
Good time management and organizational skills
