Roles & Responsibilities:

• Intelligent Network Operations Team member main task is to ensure smooth operations of the Charging nodes/Payments nodes (Telepin & Etisalat Cash). The Job holder will be responsible to maintain/monitor the charging system and IN nodes and ensure availability 99.999% of the vital systems.
• Maintain, operate and integrate new KPIs and phas20 new nodes on SPLUNK traffic KPIs system as well as has advanced knowhow and be responsible for IBM Netcool and log analytics.
• Develop new dashboards for Revenue management systems and revenue streams as well as keep enhancing & reviewing periodically the existing dashboards to cover Etisalat needs and give online status for all related revenue streams.
• To be responsible with security team for integrating existing and new IN nodes on SEIM system.
• Own and work with Audit teams “external & internal” and maintain/implement all Audit /Security requirements.
• Ensuring Etisalat Polices/guidelines and all related laws and governmental requirements are met and followed all the time.
• Interface and work with external 3rd parties vendors “Fawry,Bee,AMAN,… etc”
• Responsible for Vouchers/E-vouchers generation and to fulfil and meet all business team requirements on the agreed SLA
• Prepare, handle, gain the knowhow and work with implementation team in ranges migrations as well as new nodes integration and commissioning.
• Work and invstigate with various core teams in Volte and Data related issues and own any Sapc and OCC related issues with other support teams as well as the vendor .
• Investigate escalations of critical and major alarms to facilitate taking the most appropriate actions according to the cases.
• Conduct regular health checks to the Intelligent Network nodes and Payments nodes (Telepin & Etisalat Cash) to verify the data and take corrective actions whenever needed.
• Handling incoming requests from concerned parties (e.g. problems of first lines, technical investigations and analysis, etc…) to ensure sufficient support and smooth operations.
• Testing new packages and new tariffs implemented on the system to ensure proper deployment and service availability
• Create and update reports and event tracking of the major issues to present to the management
• Study the vendor documentations and Etisalat’s products descriptions, in order to guarantee acquiring comprehensive and adequate knowledge.
• Open cases with Node vendors (Ericsson, Telepin & MasterCard) and follow up to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
• Develop new and customized tools that support business requirements, in order to reduce the health checks processes timeframes and increase efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge:

• Basic Knowledge about communications concepts (Transmission Signalling protocols specially
• SS7 protocol …etc )
• – Basic knowledge about Intelligent Networks and Core Networks
• – Basic Knowledge about Networks (IP networks GSM Networks .. )
• – Basic Knowledge about Operating systems (UNIX LINUX …. )
• – Basic knowledge about SQL fundamentals.

Education:

• University Degree in Electrical Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering

Knowledge:

• – Basic Knowledge about communications concepts (Transmission Signalling protocols specially

• – Basic knowledge about Intelligent Networks and Core Networks
• – Basic Knowledge about Networks (IP networks GSM Networks .. )

Prior Work Experience:

• 1 to 3 years’ experience on charging systems/payments systems, or related telecom experience.

Language Proficiency:

• Fluency in both spoken & written English & Arabic language is required.

Problem Solving:

• Investigate escalations of critical and major alarms to facilitate taking the most appropriate actions according to the cases.
• solving customer trouble tickets in the agreed SLA

Innovation:

• Good knowledge about Shell scripting
• Good knowledge about any other programing language like (perl java …etc)
• Develop new and customized tools that support business requirements, in order to reduce the health checks processes timeframes and increase efficiency.
