Job Description

• Analysis and interpretation of collected infection control data.
• Investigation and surveillance of suspected outbreaks of infection.
• Implement and monitor infection prevention and control standards and guidelines.
• Conduct infection surveillance and prepare detailed reports.
• Provide training and education to hospital staff on infection control practices.
• Analyze data related to infection outbreaks and assist in outbreak investigations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated on best practices.
• Planning, implementation and evaluation of infection prevention and control measures.
• Education of individuals about infection risk, prevention and control.
• Participate in the formulation of policies and procedures.
• Follow up the implementation of the rules in the cleanliness of the hospital.
• Provide guidance to all hospital section to prevent and eliminate acquired infections.
• Development and revision of infection control policies and procedures.
• Responsible for creating surveillance of infection reports.
• Management of infection prevention and control activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy , dentist  , Microbiology,, or a related healthcare field.
• 1-3 years of experience in infection control or a related healthcare role.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control standards and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective staff training and collaboration.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed infection surveillance reports.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with outbreak investigation and response is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and hospital information systems.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
