Job Description
A holding company in Libya is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Personnel Section Head to manage and supervise all personnel administration functions. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing payroll coordination, and supporting HR operations to ensure smooth workforce management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily personnel administration activities and ensure proper documentation of all employee records.
- Prepare and manage employment contracts, renewals, probation confirmations, and termination procedures.
- Monitor attendance, leave balances, overtime, and employee movement records.
- Coordinate payroll inputs including salary adjustments, deductions, bonuses, and end-of-service calculations.
- Handle official documentation related to government authorities and labor offices.
- Maintain accurate personnel files (hard copy and electronic).
- Support recruitment processes by preparing employment documentation and onboarding procedures.
- Address employee inquiries related to contracts, policies, and HR procedures.
- Prepare periodic HR reports for management (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, etc.).
- Assist the Administration & Personnel Manager in implementing HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in personnel administration or HR operations.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing companies is preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR/ERP systems (Odoo experience is an advantage).
- Fluent in Arabic; English is a plus.
