Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles or International Financial Reporting Standards.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Perform account reconciliations, including bank and general ledger accounts.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with the preparation of tax filings.

• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

• Review and process journal entries, ensuring proper classification and documentation.

• Monitor and review accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their development.

• Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to senior management.

• Experience in auditing or working with external auditors is a plus.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
