Role Description

AWstreams is seeking a full-time Senior People & HR Manager to join its team on-site in Cairo, Egypt. This role involves leading all HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and recruitment, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The Senior People & HR Manager will develop and implement HR policies, foster a positive workplace culture, and act as a strategic partner to leadership by aligning employee initiatives with organisational goals.

Responsability

  • Own end-to-end hiring across all agency functions; manage freelancer/contractor pipelines
  • Partner with department heads to plan headcount and ensure timely hiring and onboarding
  • Standardise and enhance onboarding experience (access setup, ramp plans, buddy system)
  • Lead performance management cycles (OKRs/KPIs, 1:1s, reviews) and support on PIPs
  • Manage compensation processes, including salary bands, adjustments, promotions, and letters
  • Ensure payroll inputs and leave management are accurate and aligned with HRIS (e.g., Odoo)
  • Handle employee relations cases with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Maintain HR policies in line with Egyptian labour law and ensure audit readiness
  • Deliver people analytics and reports (hiring funnel, attrition, absenteeism, engagement)
  • Continuously improve HR processes, systems, and employee experience

Requirements

  • 5–6 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced or agency environment
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee relations
  • Good understanding of Egyptian labor law and HR best practices
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS/ATS systems (Odoo experience is a strong plus)
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to partner with business leaders
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
  • High level of ownership, confidentiality, and problem-solving mindset
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
