Job Description
1. Business Development
- Identify and develop new B2B opportunities in sectors such as:
- Real estate developers
- Industrial facilities
- Government and municipalities
- Infrastructure and smart city projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers and technical stakeholders.
- Generate and manage sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
2. Technical Sales Support
- Analyze client requirements and propose Smart Lighting & IoT solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, system architectures, and solution presentations.
- Support customers in selecting the appropriate technologies, including:
- Smart LED lighting systems
- IoT sensors and controllers
- Smart poles
- Lighting management systems
- Energy management platforms
3. Solution Design
- Work with engineering teams to design solutions including:
- Network connectivity (LoRaWAN / NB-IoT / 4G / Ethernet)
- Smart controllers and gateways
- Cloud IoT platforms
- Prepare BoQ, system diagrams, and technical documentation.
4. Proposal & Tender Management
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Participate in RFP/RFQ tender submissions.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for cost estimation.
5. Client Presentations & Demonstrations
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical workshops for clients.
- Present ROI, energy savings, and smart city benefits.
6. Project Handover
- Support smooth transition from sales to implementation teams.
- Follow up with clients during deployment to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Telecommunications Engineering
- Mechatronics or related field
Required Experience
- 3–7 years experience in technical sales or solution engineering.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Smart lighting
- IoT solutions
- Building automation
- Smart city technologies
- ICT infrastructure
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of:
- Smart LED lighting systems
- IoT architecture
- Wireless communication (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Zigbee, WiFi)
- Energy management systems
- Networking basics
- Smart city platforms
Sales Skills
- Solution selling
- Technical presentations
- Negotiation and closing
- Tender management
- Client relationship management
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Annual sales revenue
- Number of new B2B clients
