AR-Corporates hiring Financial Manager – Retail / Hypermarket in Cairo, Cairo, Egypt | LinkedIn
وصف الوظيفة والمتطلبات:
Financial Manager
AR-Corporates Group · Zahraa Al Maadi, Cairo, Egypt · On-site · Full-time
About the Role
We are hiring a Financial Manager to take ownership of the financial function across our retail and hypermarket operations. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who understands the pace and complexity of fast-moving retail — margins, shrinkage, category performance, supplier terms, and daily cash flow — and who can bring real financial discipline without slowing the business down.
You will report directly to senior leadership and work closely with the Deputy CEO’s office on financial strategy, reporting, and governance.
About Us
AR-Corporates Group is a diversified Egyptian agribusiness conglomerate operating across grain trading, animal feed manufacturing, dairy, livestock, compost production, and consumer food retail — including our hypermarket and retail arm. As we continue to grow and formalize our structure, we are building a finance function that can support scale, attract institutional financing, and eventually operate at capital-market standards.
Location
Our current head office is in Zahraa Al Maadi. Please note that the office is expected to relocate to Sheikh Zayed City in the coming period, so candidates should be comfortable commuting to either area.
What You Will Do
- Lead the full financial management cycle for our retail and hypermarket operations: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow, and variance analysis.
- Build and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Egyptian Accounting Standards and, where relevant, IFRS.
- Analyze retail and hypermarket performance at the level that matters — category margin, supplier rebates, inventory turnover, shrinkage, promotional ROI, and working capital cycles.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and short-term financing across group entities.
- Oversee the accounting team, internal controls, and month-end close process.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure full compliance with the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA / هيئة الرقابة المالية) and relevant Egyptian capital market (سوق المال) regulations where applicable to group entities.
- Support the Deputy CEO’s office on trade finance, lender reporting, and due diligence requirements for external financing.
- Prepare board-level financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and strategic analysis.
- Contribute to pricing, expansion, and investment decisions with clear financial input.
What We Expect From You
- A minimum of 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, with a strong portion of that inside retail and hypermarket environments. This is a non-negotiable part of the role — the dynamics of retail finance are specific, and we need someone who already understands them.
- CMA certification is required. Additional credentials such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are welcome.
- Deep familiarity with the Financial Regulatory Authority and Egyptian capital market ) regulatory environment.
- Strong command of Egyptian Accounting Standards, with working knowledge of IFRS.
- Solid experience managing external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is expected.
- Strong written and spoken English and Arabic, including the ability to handle professional correspondence with banks, auditors, and regulators.
- A practical, commercial mindset — someone who sees finance as a business partner, not just a reporting function.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a group or holding-company finance structure.
- Exposure to trade finance, letters of credit, or structured financing for commodity imports.
- Experience preparing a company for institutional investment, IPO readiness, or regulated capital market activity.
- Background in FMCG, food retail, or agribusiness in addition to hypermarket experience.
What You Will Get
- A senior leadership role with direct visibility to the Deputy CEO’s office and group leadership.
- A competitive package aligned with senior finance market rates.
- The opportunity to shape the finance function of a growing, diversified group during a real scale-up phase.
- A professional environment where finance is treated as a strategic function, not a back-office one.
