HR Manager – Group

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced HR Manager to lead the human resources function across our entire group — spanning head office, trading, manufacturing, dairy, livestock, compost production, and our retail and hypermarket operations.

This is a broad, senior role for someone who can operate at group level while staying close enough to the ground to handle real-world HR across very different business environments — from factory floors and warehouses to hypermarket branches and head-office teams.

About Us

AR-Corporates Group is a diversified Egyptian agribusiness conglomerate operating across grain trading, animal feed manufacturing, dairy, livestock, compost production, and consumer food retail — including our hypermarket arm. Our group brings together white-collar professionals, skilled technicians, factory workers, drivers, warehouse staff, and retail frontline employees under one umbrella, and we are building an HR function that can serve all of them properly.

Location

Our current head office is in Zahraa Al Maadi. The office is expected to relocate to Sheikh Zayed City in the coming period, so candidates should be comfortable commuting to either area. The role also involves regular visits to our factories, warehouses, and retail branches.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the full HR function across all group entities — trading, manufacturing, dairy, livestock, compost, retail, and hypermarket operations.
  • Own end-to-end recruitment for both blue-collar and white-collar roles: Blue-collar: factory workers, warehouse staff, drivers, cashiers, floor staff, security, technicians, and operators.
  • White-collar: finance, commercial, procurement, sales, marketing, IT, engineering, and management positions.
  • Build and run high-volume hiring pipelines for frontline retail and factory staff, including peak-season and Ramadan planning.
  • Design and maintain clear organizational structures, job descriptions, grading, and salary bands across all group entities.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs for both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
  • Manage performance appraisal cycles, KPIs, and career progression pathways tailored to each type of role.
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, investigations, and disciplinary processes in line with Egyptian labor law.
  • Coordinate payroll, attendance, shift scheduling, overtime, and leave management across head office, factories, warehouses, and retail branches.
  • Ensure full compliance with Egyptian Labor Law, social insurance (التأمينات الاجتماعية), and related regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with the Labor Office (مكتب العمل), social insurance authorities, and medical insurance providers.
  • Build group-wide HR policies, employee handbooks, and internal communication standards.
  • Track and report group-level HR metrics — turnover, time-to-hire, absenteeism, training coverage, and headcount cost.
  • Partner with business unit heads, factory managers, and branch managers as a real business partner.

What We Expect From You

  • A minimum of 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong portion of that inside hypermarket operations. This is a firm requirement.
  • Proven, hands-on experience recruiting both blue-collar and white-collar roles at volume.
  • Experience managing HR across multiple sites — head office, factories, warehouses, and branches.
  • Deep knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law, social insurance regulations, and labor office procedures.
  • Strong background in organizational design, job grading, and compensation structures for mixed workforces.
  • Experience managing payroll coordination, attendance systems, and shift-based workforce planning.
  • Solid experience with HRIS or ERP-based HR modules (Odoo, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, Menaitech, or similar).
  • Strong written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • A practical, calm, and firm management style — group HR requires someone who can handle pressure, people, and complexity all at once.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or HR Diploma is a plus.
  • Prior experience in FMCG, food retail, manufacturing, or agribusiness groups.
  • Exposure to opening new branches or factories, including full HR setup from scratch.
  • Experience designing training academies or structured career tracks for retail and factory staff.
