Role Description

This is a contract-based, remote role for a General Accountant. The General Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The role also involves maintaining budgets, handling tax filings, providing financial analysis, and supporting the team in achieving financial goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and budget management
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and financial documentation
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role is an asset
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
