Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Chef De Partie, based in Qesm 2nd 6 October. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for overseeing kitchen sections, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring food is cooked to standard and with precision. Tasks include managing and training junior staff, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, monitoring food storage, and collaborating with the head chef on menu planning. The role requires managing time efficiently to meet service demands while maintaining consistency and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Ability to manage a team, provide training, and oversee kitchen operations
• Thorough understanding of food hygiene, health, and safety regulations
• Attention to detail and efficiency in meeting high standards of quality
• Creativity and flexibility to contribute to menu development
• Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience in a similar role; prior work in fine dining or high-end food establishments is preferred
• Formal training or certification in culinary arts is an advantage but not mandatory
