Senior HVAC Design Engineer (Section Head Level) – Cairo

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior HVAC Design Engineer (operating at Section Head level) to lead and oversee HVAC design activities within a well-established engineering environment.

This role carries full responsibility for the planning, execution, and technical delivery of HVAC design works across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with international codes, company standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HVAC design activities across assigned projects
• Supervise and coordinate a team of Project Engineers, Design Engineers, Senior Draftsmen, and Draftsmen
• Review, validate, and ensure accuracy of HVAC designs, drawings, and technical documentation
• Ensure all design outputs comply with relevant codes, standards, and internal quality requirements
• Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and problem-solving support to the team
• Handle special assignments as directed by senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• 10–15 years of experience in HVAC design
• Strong background in HVAC systems design principles and standards
• Proven experience in leading or supervising engineering teams
• Proficiency in CAD, MEP tools, and engineering software
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Work Environment

• Based in Cairo
• Office-based role with possible overtime depending on project demands
