Role Description The Recruiter – Talent Acquisition Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This position supports end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers for retail and support roles. The role involves maintaining candidate records, updating recruitment trackers, and ensuring accurate data entry in HR systems. The Recruiter – Talent Acquisition Assistant will collaborate with store managers and HR team members to understand staffing needs, post job advertisements, and assist with onboarding documentation and orientation scheduling. The role also includes supporting employer branding initiatives, attending career events when needed, and helping maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Qualifications
- Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills to support recruitment processes, staffing coordination, and collaboration with hiring managers.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to manage candidate data, maintain accurate records, and support HR reporting.
- Basic knowledge of Benefits Administration and Training to assist with onboarding, orientation, and coordination of employee benefits information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with candidates, store teams, and HR colleagues.
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, manage multiple vacancies simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Prior experience in recruitment or HR support, preferably in retail or high-volume hiring, is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for documentation, tracking, and reporting; familiarity with online job boards and social media recruiting is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
