Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements related to the financial services industry. The role plays a key part in supporting financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions and journal entries. 
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. 
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. 
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. 
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. 
• Support the preparation of tax and regulatory filings. 
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and payments. 
• Assist with audits and provide required documentation. 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. 
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. 
• Assist in recording and monitoring factoring transactions. 
• Follow up on client settlements and collections. 
• Support portfolio reconciliation and reporting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
• 0–2 years of accounting experience. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries. 
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. 
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. 
• Good organizational and time management skills. 
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment. 
• Familiarity with ERP systems or accounting software is a plus. 
• Good command of English is preferred
