We’re Hiring – Pricing Specialist

We are a retail company based in Alexandria, looking for a Pricing Specialist to join our team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain item codes on the system according to company standards.

• Conduct regular reviews and updates of the Item Master Data to prevent duplication and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Manage supplier data and item-related information such as barcodes, sizes, and net weights.

• Update product pricing based on supplier quotations and commercial agreements.

• Set selling prices to achieve the company’s targeted profit margins.

• Launch and manage promotional offers and discounts on the system.

• Conduct market price surveys and continuously monitor competitors’ pricing.

• Analyze promotional performance and monitor profit margins across items and categories.

• Ensure data accuracy and resolve any issues affecting inventory, reports, or sales operations.

• Review and classify inventory items according to company standards and industry best practices.

• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure accurate item descriptions and classifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Experience in Retail, Pricing, Data Management, Inventory Management, or related roles.

• Proven experience in material classification and item coding.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
