Job Title: Accountant / US Tax Specialist

Location: Alexandria, Egypt (On-site)

Responsibilities

* Prepare and review U.S. individual and business tax returns.

* Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks for U.S.-based clients.

* Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.

* Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies.

* Communicate with clients and team members regarding financial and tax matters.

* Prepare supporting schedules and tax workpapers.

* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

* Assist with tax planning and compliance projects.

* Work with accounting and tax software including QuickBooks and tax preparation platforms.

Requirements

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

* Experience with bookkeeping and accounting processes.

* Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* High attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)

* Experience with U.S. bookkeeping and tax preparation.

* Experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO).

* Experience with Drake Tax, ProSeries, UltraTax, or similar tax software.

* Familiarity with Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.

* Knowledge of U.S. payroll and sales tax processes.

* Previous experience working with U.S. accounting firms.
