About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical Estimation Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the tendering process for construction and contracting projects. This role is critical in ensuring competitive and profitable project bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Request, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for tender submissions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams during the bidding process.
• Identify project risks and opportunities that may impact project costs.
• Maintain and update cost databases, pricing records, and estimation templates.
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs and improve competitiveness.
• Participate in tender clarification meetings and pre-bid discussions when required.
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and submitted within established deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–8 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or tendering within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project execution.
• Experience in civil works, infrastructure, landscaping, building construction, or contracting projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
