Job Description
- Handle incoming customer inquiries and follow up to close sales.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations tailored to customer needs.
- Advise customers on available surplus stock, scrap materials, and steel products.
- Manage the full sales cycle from quotation to delivery and after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales records in the CRM system.
- Monitor daily market trends and pricing for surplus and scrap materials and report updates to management.
- Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the management.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues quickly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
- Approach leads through adds, emailing, and networking.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and close deals effectively.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client communications in the CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, competitor activity, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing and customer service teams to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
