Reports to: Plant General Manager / Regional HR Director

 

 

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for our manufacturing plant in Ismailia, Egypt. This role will be responsible for driving the full spectrum of HR activities, including talent acquisition, employee relations, HR operations, performance management, compliance, organizational development, and workforce engagement.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in a manufacturing environment, be hands-on in execution, and capable of partnering with plant leadership to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.

 

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for Middle management, Staff & shop floor positions. 
  • Develop workforce plans aligned with production and operational requirements. 
  • Build strong local recruitment channels and talent pipelines. 
  • Ensure effective onboarding and induction of new employees. 

HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage all day-to-day HR operations, employee records, contracts, attendance, leave administration, and employee lifecycle processes. 
  • Ensure smooth and efficient HR service delivery across the plant. 
  • Maintain accurate HR reporting and documentation. 
  • Oversee payroll input coordination in partnership with finance/payroll teams. 

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Build strong employee relations and maintain a positive workplace environment. 
  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievance management, investigations, and conflict resolution. 
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and communication programs. 
  • Support leadership in maintaining workforce morale and productivity. 

Performance Management & Organizational Development

  • Implement performance management processes, goal setting, and review cycles. 
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate capability-building initiatives. 
  • Support talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. 

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies. 
  • Support audits, compliance reporting, and documentation governance. 
  • Promote ethical workplace practices and adherence to company standards. 
  • Partner with relevant teams on employee welfare, health, and safety compliance. 

HR Business Partnership

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to plant leadership. 
  • Provide guidance on people-related decisions, workforce planning, and organizational matters. 
  • Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives. 

 

 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related discipline. 
  • Professional HR qualifications/certifications are an advantage. 

 

Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in an HR leadership role. 
  • Strong experience in manufacturing / apparel / industrial operations is highly preferred. 
  • Experience managing large workforce environments is an advantage. 
  • Strong understanding of Egyptian labor law and HR compliance requirements.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
