Job Description

• The Furniture Technical Officer Engineer will be responsible for managing the technical life cycle of furniture products from design specification through manufacturing and quality assurance. 
• This role involves creating and reviewing technical drawings, developing comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM), providing technical support to the production floor, and ensuring all products meet strict technical, quality, and standards.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in product design, Industrial desig, Interior design or a closely related technical field.
• Experience: Proven professional experience (typically 3+ years) in a technical detailing, product development, or engineering role within the furniture manufacturing industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Expert proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for creating 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Strong knowledge of various furniture construction techniques, materials (wood, metal, composites), and hardware components.
• Familiarity with production processes and quality control standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills to liaise between design and production teams.
