Overview: As a Foreign Purchasing Specialist, you will be instrumental in sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring goods and services from international markets. Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end foreign purchasing processes, from vendor identification and evaluation to order placement and delivery.

• Manage and optimize logistics operations for international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and company policies.

• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and risk factors to proactively inform purchasing decisions.

Skills & Technologies: This role demands proficiency in Foreign Purchasing, robust knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and hands-on experience in Procurement and Purchasing. Familiarity with International Trade practices, Vendor Management, and Customs Regulations is essential. Experience with ERP Systems for procurement and inventory control will be highly valued.

Requirements

• Proven Expertise: 3-7 years of professional experience in Foreign Purchasing, Logistics, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management, demonstrating a clear track record of success.
• Essential Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Vendor Management, Negotiation, and understanding of Customs Regulations.
• Logistics Acumen: Strong understanding of international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs clearance processes.
• Analytical Prowess: Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate market data, supplier performance, and optimize purchasing strategies.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with international suppliers and internal teams.
