Job Description
- Develop and execute international business development strategies.
- Identify new export markets and growth opportunities.
- Conduct market feasibility studies and competitor analysis.
- Assess market entry models (Distributor, Agent, Joint Venture, Direct Sales).
- Develop annual international growth plans.
- Achieve international sales and profitability targets.
- Expand customer portfolio across targeted regions.
- Manage key international accounts.
- Lead commercial negotiations with customers.
- Develop pricing strategies based on market conditions.
- Develop strategic alliances with importers.
- Ensure partner compliance with company standards.
- Monitor market trends within the Agriculture and Food & Beverage sectors.
- Analyze competitors’ products, pricing, and market positioning.
- Track regulatory changes impacting exports.
- Provide market intelligence reports to senior management.
- Prepare annual sales forecasts.
- Develop market penetration plans.
- Monitor revenue performance against targets.
- Prepare business cases for new markets and investments.
- Represent the company in international exhibitions.
- Promote company products globally.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Finance, and Marketing.
- Ensure export orders are fulfilled efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Agriculture, International Trade, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Export Sales, or International Sales.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in Agriculture, Food Processing, FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Agri-business sectors.
- Proven track record in international market expansion.
- Fluent English (Mandatory).
- Additional languages are an advantage.
