Roles & Responsibilities
Set public relations priorities aligned with national tourism objectives and market needs.
- Lead the development and delivery of PR strategies across priority markets.
- Manage PR agencies and ensure consistent messaging and timely execution.
- Ensure media relations, press engagement, and reputation management activities.
- Coordinate closely with Brand, Digital, and Content teams to ensure message alignment.
- Monitor media coverage and sentiment to identify risks, barriers and opportunities.
- Ensure readiness and coordination for crisis communication when required.
- Advise leadership on reputation risks, communication priorities, and stakeholder engagement.
- Identify and evaluate strategic events, sponsorships, and partnership opportunities that support tourism communication objectives and destination visibility.
- Lead the management and negotiation of event partnerships and sponsorship agreements in coordination with relevant stakeholders and partners.
- Ensure that sponsored events and partnerships deliver strong communication value, media exposure, and alignment with the destination brand.
- Coordinate event communication, PR visibility, and stakeholder engagement related to sponsored events and partnerships.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Events and PR.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English is a must.
