Job Description

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to drive sell-in and distribution of our beauty and personal care portfolio to independent pharmacies, pharmacy groups, and beauty retailers across Egypt. You will own a defined territory, open new accounts, manage existing relationships, and ensure our brands are visible, in stock, and selling through at the store level.
This is a hands-on field sales role for someone who knows the pharmacy and beauty retail trade — not a desk job and not a management position.
Key Responsibilities
• Open new accounts among independent pharmacies, pharmacy chains, and beauty/cosmetics retailers within your assigned territory
• Achieve monthly sell-in targets (revenue, order volume, and new account openings)
• Conduct regular route visits to existing accounts: take orders, manage reorders, and monitor stock levels
• Present new brands and SKUs to store owners, purchasing managers, and pharmacists using company sales materials and pricing structures
• Negotiate orders within approved pricing, discount, and credit terms
• Ensure proper in-store merchandising: shelf placement, displays, testers, and POS materials
• Follow up on collections and ensure accounts stay within agreed credit terms
• Report market intelligence: competitor activity, pricing movements, and retailer feedback
• Maintain accurate records of visits, orders, and account status in the company’s reporting system (daily/weekly reporting)
• Coordinate with the operations team on deliveries, returns, and consignment/sale-or-return arrangements where applicable

Experience
• 3–5+ years of field sales experience in beauty, personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG distribution in Egypt
• Proven track record of opening and growing pharmacy and/or beauty retail accounts
• Existing relationships with pharmacies and beauty retailers in Greater Cairo (or your assigned territory) are a strong advantage
• Experience selling imported or premium brands is a plus
Skills
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with store owners and purchasing decision-makers
• Solid understanding of trade terms: margins, credit terms, sell-in vs. sell-through, consignment models
• Comfortable working with sales targets and structured reporting
• Proficiency with smartphone-based reporting tools (Excel/Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, or CRM apps)
Language & Personal
• Fluent Arabic (Egyptian dialect); working English for product knowledge and internal communication
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a route plan independently
• Presentable and professional — you represent premium international brands in front of retailers
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel daily within the territory (own vehicle is a plus)
