We are seeking a detail-oriented Tendering Engineer to join our growing team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the preparation and submission of competitive tender proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints. This position is essential for driving our project acquisition efforts and supporting the company’s growth objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare comprehensive competitive tender submissions for construction projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and resources for tenders.
• Analyze tender documents, including specifications, drawings, and contracts to assess feasibility and risks.
• Develop and maintain a database of past tender submissions and outcomes for future reference.
• Meet submission deadlines, ensuring that all documentation is complete and adheres to client requirements and standards.
• Participate in post-tender reviews and debriefs to improve tendering processes.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and technical information.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and pricing for construction materials and labor to inform tender strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tendering or estimating within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in tendering software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of construction methods, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
