Role Description The Income Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Sharm Plaza & Resort in Sharm El Sheikh. This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling all revenue streams, including rooms, food and beverage, and ancillary services, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of daily income. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and reconciling daily revenue reports, verifying postings from the Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems, and investigating discrepancies with the relevant departments. The Income Manager will prepare and analyze revenue summaries, coordinate with Finance to support month-end closing, and provide insights on income trends and variances. The role also involves enforcing internal controls, supporting audits, collaborating with Front Office and Revenue Management to optimize income, and maintaining clear documentation and procedures in line with company policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial and accounting skills, including revenue reconciliation, variance analysis, and familiarity with income audit processes.
  • Proficiency with hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, and Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with Finance, Front Office, F&B, and Revenue Management teams.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle daily reports, tight deadlines, and month-end closing tasks.
  • Previous experience in hotel income audit, revenue accounting, or a similar finance role in hospitality is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality, follow internal controls, and support compliance with company policies and external audit requirements.
  • Working proficiency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are an advantage.
