Role Description The Senior Manager Finance Accounting is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi, responsible for leading the financial accounting function and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This role oversees the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and internal policies. The Senior Manager will manage budgeting and forecasting cycles, monitor variances, and provide analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising the accounting team, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, managing cash flow, and coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors. The role also involves implementing and improving financial controls, supporting process automation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on financial planning and performance management.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance with proven experience in managing end-to-end finance and accounting operations at a senior level.
• Advanced expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal control requirements.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Hands-on experience with Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support planning and performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA) is preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with business intelligence or reporting tools is an advantage.
• Proven people-management skills, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Experience in the education or training sector, and exposure to multi-location or international operations, is a plus.
