Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Custom Broker located in Masqaţ, Oman. The Custom Broker will oversee and handle the import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing customs declarations, managing shipping documents, coordinating with customs authorities, and facilitating smooth clearance of goods. The role also requires collaboration with clients and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely management of international trade operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Customs Brokerage and a strong understanding of customs procedures and regulations
• Experience in Import, Export, and International Trade operations
• Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build cordial relationships
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling customs documentation
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with logistics, supply chain management, or freight forwarding is a plus
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms is an advantage
