Role Description The Crew Member role at 5 Roosters Fried Chicken is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo and Giza. Crew Members support daily restaurant operations, including taking customer orders at the counter, preparing and packaging food according to company standards, and maintaining a clean and organized dining, service, and kitchen area. Responsibilities include operating the cash register or point-of-sale system, handling payments accurately, restocking supplies, and assisting with opening and closing duties. Crew Members follow food safety and hygiene guidelines, support teammates during busy periods, and provide friendly, efficient service to every guest. This role works under the guidance of shift leaders or managers.
Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in customer service, hospitality, or quick-service restaurants.
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests and team members.
- Comfort with handling cash, using a point-of-sale system, and following basic math procedures.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods, move efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and lift light to moderate items as needed.
- Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards in all work areas.
- Reliability in following schedules, arriving on time, and completing assigned tasks with attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn standard operating procedures and follow direction from supervisors.
- Previous food service or retail experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, and holidays, as needed.
