Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Cluster Commercial Director to lead our commercial operations across the Red Sea region, based in Hurghada, Egypt. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving commercial excellence, revenue growth, and operational performance across our cluster portfolio. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, commercial acumen, and a proven ability to deliver results in a dynamic, competitive market environment.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion across the cluster
  • Lead, mentor, and manage high-performing commercial teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Manage cluster P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring to ensure profitability targets are achieved
  • Identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities through market analysis, competitive intelligence, and strategic partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, suppliers, and internal leadership teams
  • Oversee pricing strategies, revenue optimisation, and commercial negotiations to maximise profitability
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to inform strategic decision-making
  • Ensure alignment of commercial objectives with organisational goals and corporate standards
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency improvements across all commercial functions
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to support team development and career progression

Qualifications

  • Required Skills & Experience:**
  • Minimum 7 years of commercial or sales leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a cluster or multi-unit management capacity
  • Proven expertise in P&L management, financial forecasting, and budget administration
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies that deliver measurable revenue growth
  • Strong people management and team leadership capabilities with experience building and motivating high-performing teams
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to balance short-term objectives with long-term vision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with commercial acumen
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics interpretation

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience within the hospitality, tourism, or leisure sectors
  • Knowledge of the Egyptian market dynamics and Red Sea region business landscape
  • Exposure to international brand management or multi-national organisations
  • Experience with digital transformation and technology-enabled commercial solutions
  • Track record of successful team expansion and organisational development
  • Familiarity with revenue management systems and commercial software platforms
