Job Description

The civil site engineer is responsible for the direct supervision of construction work on site, ensuring its execution according to the shop drawings and technical specifications, while adhering to schedules and quality and safety standards, especially in factory and building projects with concrete and steel structures.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Construction: Supervise the construction of concrete structures and foundations for factories and administrative buildings.

• Steel Structures: Monitor the installation of trusses and steel structures, and ensure the quality of joints and welds.

• Industrial Flooring: Carefully supervise the pouring of laser-cured concrete floors designed to withstand heavy industrial loads.

• Shop Drawings: Review shop and structural drawings to ensure they conform to the execution plan and do not conflict with other disciplines.

• Project Management: Distribute tasks among supervisors and contractors, and monitor the project schedule to ensure timely delivery of each phase.

• Quality Control and Acceptance: Receive reinforcing steel, formwork, and concrete, and submit acceptance requests to the consultant, in addition to monitoring the results of laboratory tests for concrete and soil.

• Quantity Surveying and Payment Certificates: Prepare accurate bills of quantities for completed work and review subcontractor payment certificates.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a public university.

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a public university. • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in field project execution (experience in steel building and factory projects is preferred).

• Safety and Quality: Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements and international quality standards in execution.

• Personal Attributes: Excellent ability to manage workers and contractors on large work sites under pressure.
