Job Description

●Cooperate with other healthcare professionals as a member of the healthcare team to provide high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care
●Provide and develop a Clinical Pharmacy service to a variety of Medical and Surgical Specialties.

 ●To act as a source of specialist advice and medical information.

 ●Perform daily rounds with primary physician and recommend the best interventions or modifications
●To ensure the appropriate use of Hospital antibiotic policy.
●To ensure patients are given appropriate counseling and information.
●To participate in education of nursing and medical staff in relation to new medications.
●Recommending new medications or changing dosages to improve
patient health or eliminate side effects of current medications
● Evaluating the effectiveness of medications, adjusting dosages as
needed, and changing medications as indicated

 ● Generate KPI reports related to:
– Antibiotic use
– DDDC “Daily Define Dose Consumption”
– SUP “Stress Ulcer Prophylaxis”
– Pre-operative Antibiotic use.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in clinical pharmacy.
Post graduate degree in Pharm D, American Board or Master’s degree in clinical pharmacy
Experience from 2:4 years of clinical pharmacy experience.
At least 2 Years practical experience in ICU.
Knowledge of pharmacology and experience with different medication

Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical therapy and direct patient care

Solid knowledge of drug administration and health & safety guidelines
