Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biomedical Engineer based in Cairo, Egypt. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and repair of CSSD and other medical equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, collaborating with healthcare staff for equipment functionality, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and quality standards. The role involves hands-on involvement in clinical and technical engineering activities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering principles
• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices
• Experience working with Medical Equipment and CSSD technologies
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and healthcare professionals
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in the healthcare or medical equipment industry is preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety compliance standards is highly desirable
