Job Description

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate English learning activities aligned with the nursery’s curriculum.
• Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support children’s language development, social skills, emotional growth, and independence.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and portfolios.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and team members.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding children’s development when required.
• Ensure classroom hygiene, safety, and daily routines are followed at all times.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
• Follow nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and code of conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience teaching in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong command of the English language (spoken and written).
• Understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning.
• Patient, caring, energetic, and child-focused personality.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
