Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute export sales strategy to grow revenue and expand market presence across targeted countries.
- Identify new international buyers, distributors, and strategic partners (B2B), and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Manage the full export sales cycle: inquiry handling, offers, negotiations, contract finalization, and after-sales support.
- Prepare competitive commercial offers (Incoterms such as FOB/CFR/CIF), pricing, and payment terms (LC, TT, CAD, etc.).
- Coordinate with operations/logistics to ensure correct documentation and on-time shipment execution (PI, CI, PL, COO, BL, insurance, etc.).
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, freight rates, and trade regulations impacting mining product exports.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat orders, dispute resolution, and long-term growth.
- Participate in international trade shows, customer visits, and business trips as required.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, internal policies, and country-specific import requirements.
- Prepare sales forecasts, monthly reports, and KPI dashboards (pipeline, conversion, margin, collection, shipment performance).
- Work closely with finance on credit risk, customer due diligence, and collection follow-up.
Requirements
Job Requirements (Qualifications & Experience)
- 3–5 years of experience as an Export Manager / Export Sales Manager in an exporting company (mandatory).
- Proven track record in international B2B sales, preferably in mining, minerals, or building materials (e.g., gypsum, limestone, calcium carbonate, etc.).
- Strong understanding of export processes: Incoterms, shipping documentation, trade finance, and payment methods.
- Experience managing distributors, agents, or key accounts across multiple regions/countries.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with strong commercial and pricing awareness.
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus (e.g., French).
- Ability to work with CRM systems and reporting tools (Excel, ERP, or similar).
- Willingness to travel internationally when needed.
