Job Description
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest records and billing.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and issues are resolved swiftly.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel’s property management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk area.
- Process payments, issue room keys, and manage cash and credit transactions securely.
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Assist in resolving guest complaints or issues, escalating to management when necessary.
- Support administrative tasks and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years and up to 7 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or guest services role within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a boutique hotel setting.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems and reservation software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints diplomatically.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude.
