• Champion Safety Excellence: Lead the charge in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs specifically tailored for electrical systems and operations.
• Conduct Critical Risk Assessments: Perform thorough risk assessments on electrical infrastructure, equipment, and procedures, identifying potential hazards and implementing effective control measures.
• Ensure Unwavering Compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to national and international HSE regulations, electrical safety standards, and company policies, keeping our operations fully compliant.
• Investigate and Analyze: Spearhead incident investigations, employing root cause analysis techniques to prevent recurrence and continuously improve our safety protocols.
• Manage Electrical Safety Projects: Oversee and contribute to projects focused on enhancing electrical safety, from design to implementation, ensuring all technical documentation is precise and comprehensive.

Skills & Technologies We’re Looking For:

You will bring a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering coupled with extensive expertise in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). Your proficiency in Risk Assessment, Compliance Management, and understanding of complex Power Systems will be critical. Experience with Industrial Safety, Hazard Identification, and Root Cause Analysis is essential. Additionally, strong skills in Project Management and crafting precise Technical Documentation will be highly valued.

Requirements

• Experience: We are seeking an individual with 2-9 years of progressive experience in an Electrical Engineering role with a strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
• Skills & Expertise:
  • Demonstrated expertise in Safety principles and practices.
  • Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, including understanding of Power Systems.
  • Proven experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management.
  • Proficiency in conducting thorough Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification.
  • Strong capabilities in Compliance Management with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Experience in Industrial Safety methodologies and implementation.
  • Adept at performing Root Cause Analysis for incidents and near misses.
  • Strong Project Management skills, particularly for safety-related initiatives.
  • Excellent ability to produce clear and comprehensive Technical Documentation.
  • Familiarity with OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 standards is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices.
  • Experience with incident investigation and reporting.
