Job Description
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of the workplace to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks in the production environment.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE policies and procedures.
- Deliver HSE training sessions and toolbox talks to employees to promote a safety-first culture.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of emergency response plans and drills.
- Monitor the use and condition of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper usage by all staff.
- Collaborate with management and production teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within a manufacturing or textile environment.
- Proven knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Experience conducting workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage employees.
- Ability to analyze incidents and develop actionable recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Office and HSE management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
