Role Purpose

To create design concepts, shop drawings, and detailed drawings for joinery and fitout projects, translating client requirements and architectural intent into manufacturable and installable designs. 

Key Accountabilities

• Incorporate feedback and revisions into designs promptly. 
• Coordination 
• Coordinate with production and site teams to ensure design feasibility and resolve installation issues. 
• Support the tendering team with design input for proposals and bids. 
• Sales & Client Management 
• Meet showroom sales targets through effective customer engagement and solution selling. 
• Conduct client consultations to understand needs and provide tailored kitchen and wardrobe solutions. 
• Prepare and present design proposals, quotations, and project presentations. 
• Follow up with prospective clients and manage the sales process until project closure 
• Innovation & Value Creation 
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency. 
• Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field 
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in interior design for joinery or fitout projects (specially Kitchen, Wardrobe) 
• Ability to work on a shift basis  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent design software 
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, and hardware 
• Good aesthetic sense and attention to detail 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills 
• Portfolio of completed joinery/fitout design projects .
