Head of Operations — Klēa

Luxury skincare brand currently launching in Egypt. First under a broader holding company with more verticals in development.

We are hiring a Head of Operations.

The Role

This position sits between the founder and the team. You are responsible for making sure every active workstream has a clear owner, a deadline, and forward momentum. When something stalls, you identify why and fix it. When a decision needs the founder, you bring it with context, not questions.

You are not being managed into this role. You manage it.

Responsibilities

Team accountability — you track deliverables across all team members, follow up without being asked, and escalate patterns not just incidents.

Vendor and supplier relationships — manufacturer, fulfillment partner, print house, packaging suppliers. You own the communication, the timelines, and the outcomes.

Shopify and order operations — backend management once orders go live. Clean, monitored, flagged early if anything breaks.

PR and outreach coordination — packages, logistics, dispatch. End to end.

First-round hiring — screening candidates and presenting a shortlist. Final decisions stay with the founder.

Office and administrative operations — fully owned by you.

What we’re looking for

Three or more years managing operations in a consumer brand, agency, or product-led business. You have handled multiple vendors at the same time, held people accountable without escalating everything upward, and worked in an environment where the answer was not always obvious.

You are precise, direct, and calm under pressure. You do not need daily direction. You know the difference between a problem worth flagging and one worth solving yourself.

Cairo-based. On-site daily. Non-negotiable.

Why now

Klēa is at the beginning. The person in this role builds the operational foundation — not inherits one. As the holding company scales across categories, this role scales with it.
