About Lot Link Up

We buy and sell rural vacant land across the U.S. We’re a small, fast-moving team that actually cares about the people and the land we deal with — no high-pressure tactics, no pushing anybody into anything. We move quick, we keep things organized, and we treat the folks we talk to like human beings. That’s the whole game.

The Role — in plain English

You are not closing deals (yet — more on that below). Right now, you’re the scout.

We hand you lists of landowners who might want to sell. Your job is to call them, have a friendly conversation, and figure out one thing: is this a real lead or not? The good ones you pass straight to our acquisitions team to take across the finish line. You make the first contact warm; we close.

On every call you’re trying to learn:

  • Do they actually want to sell? (Or were they just on a list)
  • Why? What’s their motivation — taxes, inherited it, never use it, need cash?
  • What’s the number? A rough price they’d be happy with
  • What’s the timeline? Do they want out fast, or is there no rush at all?

Then you log it cleanly in our CRM and move to the next call. That’s the rhythm.

Where this can go

This is not a dead-end phone job. We’re growing, and we want someone hungry. The path here goes: scout → learn the business inside and out → eventually close deals yourself, start to finish. That’s where the real money is, and it comes with major pay increases. We’re not hiring a closer today — but if you’re driven and you put in the work to learn this business, the door is wide open. If “I just want to make my calls and clock out” is you, this isn’t the right fit. We want someone reaching for more.

The script thing — read this carefully

We’ll give you scripts to start so you can find your footing. But scripts are training wheels, not the destination. The best callers don’t sound like they’re reading — they sound like they actually understand land, understand why someone would sell, and can just talk to a person like a human being. That’s what we’re building toward with you. We need someone who will learn this business deeply enough that the script disappears and real conversation takes over. That’s how you win trust on the phone, and it’s the whole difference between a good caller and a great one.

What we’re looking for

  • Neutral, American-sounding spoken English with no noticeable accent. This is essential — our sellers are everyday Americans, and a familiar, trustworthy voice on the line is non-negotiable for this role. Please only apply if you genuinely sound American on the phone.
  • Cold calling experience in real estate. This is a requirement — we need someone who’s already done this kind of calling and knows how real estate conversations flow. Please don’t apply without it.
  • A genuinely friendly phone presence — people open up to you
  • Thick skin. Most calls go nowhere, and that’s totally normal. The right person doesn’t take it personally and just keeps dialing
  • Driven and hungry to learn — you want to grow into more, not coast
  • Someone organized who keeps good notes (we’ll show you the system)
  • Self-starter energy — you’ll work independently and we trust you to hit your numbers without someone watching over your shoulder
  • A quiet workspace and a stable internet connection

Nice to have (not required)

  • Cold calling specifically for a land flipper or land investor — this is a HUGE plus. If you’ve already called landowners for a land-flipping business, you’ll get a much closer look. Make sure to mention it.
  • You’ve used a CRM or dialer before

The scripts and tools we can teach. The voice, the work ethic, and the hunger to grow are what we can’t.

The setup

  • Full-time, fully remote (Egypt) — Monday through Friday, 8 hours/day (we may consider 6 hours/day for the right person)
  • Hours: You’ll work U.S. Central Time business hours (roughly 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT). Most of our leads are in the Midwest, so this is when they pick up the phone. Please only apply if you can reliably work these hours.
  • Pay: $500/month base, plus performance bonuses for every qualified lead you send our way. Strong callers comfortably reach $800/month and beyond — and as you grow toward closing deals, your earning potential climbs well past that.
  • A real path to grow with us.

  • Send a short note telling us why you’d be great on the phone — and include a 20–30 second voice recording so we can hear you (just talk naturally; introduce yourself, tell us about your phone experience, whatever feels easy). This is the most important part of your application, so make it count. Start your written message with the word “LAND” so we know you actually read this far. 🙂
