• Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians
• Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for farm equipment and machinery
• Coordinate and oversee the repair of faulty equipment to minimize downtime
• Manage the maintenance of farm buildings, structures, and infrastructure
• Identify and address any issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility upkeep
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and necessary supplies
• Ensure that all required materials are available for maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
• Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed
• Assist in the development of maintenance budgets
• Monitor and control expenses to stay within budgetary constraints
• Generate reports on equipment reliability, downtime, and maintenance costs for management review

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering
• 8 years Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a farming or agricultural setting
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and Hydraulic systems
• Familiarity with agricultural equipment and machinery
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
