Role Description
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and executing import logistics activities from the receipt of approved purchase orders through shipment delivery to our warehouse. The role plays a key part in ensuring smooth shipment execution, documentation accuracy, customs clearance coordination, Nafeza compliance, and uninterrupted supply flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate international shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
- Follow up on vessel schedules, shipment progress, and delivery timelines.
- Manage import documentation including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and related shipping documents.
- Coordinate Nafeza and CargoX requirements to ensure compliance with Egyptian import regulations.
- Liaise with customs brokers to facilitate timely customs clearance and shipment release.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with warehouse and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor logistics activities and provide regular shipment status updates.
- Support continuous improvement of logistics processes and operational efficiency, customs broker, Warehouse, and internal departments regarding shipment execution and logistics-related matters.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, import operations, shipping coordination, or supply chain functions.
- Hands-on experience with import documentation and customs clearance processes.
- Familiarity with Nafeza and import shipment procedures.
- Good command of English, particularly in supplier and freight-forwarder communication.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
