Job Purpose

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage and follow up all Export Shipments and all payment ( for Export or import Shipments ) procedures which include contracts and invoices until releasing payments to concerned party to achieve department objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Audit shipping and packing lists for OD (Over Dimension) and/or Heavy Packages that require roads, bridges & traffic permits for transportation.
• Coordinate with corporate Insurance Department for cargo insurance purposes.
• Manage the loading of cargo onto chartered vessel for safety and security reasons.
• Manage the preparation of all required shipping documents for Export & Re-importing the temporary exported equipment, in addition to proceedings and following up until back delivery to final destination.
• Manage the inspection process of re-importing the equipment from company’s sites abroad (international projects) occasionally.
• Manage the preparation of the required documents for customs clearance to be submitted to the customs agency which include; commercial invoices and export requisition letter.
• Manage the stamped commercial invoice and ‘form 13’ to deliver to the Finance Department for necessary action.
• Coordinate the issuance of certificates of origin from the Chamber of Commerce and the Verification Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Embassies.
• Update daily log with re-export operations.
• Cooperate and follow up with Accounting and Treasury Departments the issuance of checks to concerned parties until payment is released.
• Check all invoices for compliance with relevant contracts and approve it from Logistics Director or Deputy Logistics Director for Release and deliver to the Accounting Dep.
• Handle the advance payments procedures to Trucking Company in respect of Roads, Bridges & Traffic Permits for OD and Heavy Packages.
• Manage the preparation and develop draft of invoices the on carriage of shipments abroad from on board the ships at ports of destinations to FOT Job Sites.
• Prepare the Logistics Finance Report for Projects
• Perform other assignments as necessary to support the function/department
• Ensure working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, risk assessment and environmental aspects.
