Job Description
- Supervise shift operations within the pasta production line, ensuring all processes (mixing, extrusion, drying, and packaging) are executed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with company procedures.
- Oversee end-to-end performance of the pasta line (24/7), ensuring production targets are achieved in terms of product quality, consistency, food safety, OEE, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor critical process parameters (e.g., dough mixing ratios, extrusion conditions, drying temperatures, and moisture levels) to ensure final products meet pasta quality specifications and standards.
- Lead and manage production teams by organizing shift schedules, task allocation, training, and coaching operators to meet productivity and performance KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within pasta processing by conducting root cause analysis (RCA), optimizing processes, reducing waste (raw materials, energy), and lowering conversion costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HSE standards, maintaining clean production areas and compliance with regulatory and company requirements, while preparing accurate daily production reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in production or manufacturing, preferably within food processing or FMCG (pasta production is a plus).
- Solid understanding of pasta production processes (mixing, extrusion, drying, packaging) and food safety standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills with the ability to supervise and develop operators.
- Ability to perform problem-solving and root cause analysis (RCA) to improve processes and reduce waste.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic production/reporting systems.
