Job Description

-Responsible for directing and training the production team within its departments to achieve budgeted production targets while maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, consulting with the Production Manager and adhering to company policy.
– Responsible for ensuring that all machines are operating at full capacity and are in use under the supervision of the Production Manager.
– Monitors the smooth running of basic manufacturing processes.
– Ensures that the production team is able to maintain the production flow as stipulated in the production plan, under the supervision of the Production Manager.
– Responsible for communicating production requirements and issues to the Production Manager (updating schedules, inventory control, quality control, health and safety issues, and monitoring production equipment maintenance in cooperation with maintenance personnel or contractors).
– Preparing daily production reports.
– Determining the quantity of raw materials and production requirements according to the production plan, consulting with the Production Manager.
– Reviewing the implementation of the production plan and following up on all production procedures to ensure they are carried out according to standards and on time to achieve production targets, in coordination with other departments. – Meet all quality requirements for production inputs and follow up with the Quality Department to maintain consistent quality.
– Prepare daily and annual labor requirements according to the production plan under the supervision of the Production Manager.

-Follow up daily on production reports with the heads of production departments.
– Ensure that the team adheres to industrial safety and security measures.
– Execute all production activities effectively.
– Review production needs for raw materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies in coordination with the Purchasing and Warehouse Departments under the supervision of the Production Manager.
– Maintain effective workflow to achieve management objectives through the production team.
– Supervise production department heads to produce the required quantities on time and to the required quality standards.
– Evaluate the performance of production department heads.
– Hold regular meetings with production department heads and the production team to review performance and resolve challenges under the supervision of the Production Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
• 5 years previous experience in manufacturing.
• Very good English Language (Writing and Speaking)
• Excellent Communication Skills
