Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Director role based in El Mansoura. The Sales Director will lead the medical sales function and Medical Representative (Med Rep) teams, set and execute the sales strategy targeting dermatologists, cosmetic clinics, and pharmacies, and oversee day-to-day sales operations to achieve revenue and growth targets. Responsibilities include managing and coaching the medical field force, designing and monitoring sales processes, and analyzing performance metrics (such as prescription generation and pharmacy off-take) to improve conversion and retention. The role involves identifying new market opportunities within the medical cosmetics sector, building and maintaining strategic relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and key pharmacy chains, and collaborating closely with marketing, operations, and finance to align business development initiatives. The Sales Director will also handle key client negotiations, ensure a high standard of customer service, and regularly report on pipeline, forecasts, and performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Medical Sales and Field Force Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and medical rep territory optimization.
  • Proven experience in Business Development within the dermocosmetics or pharmaceutical industry, with a track record of identifying opportunities, opening new markets, and closing high-value deals with pharmacies and medical institutions.
  • Customer Service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and medical professionals, handling escalations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Team Management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and developing a high-performing Medical Representative culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on-site in El Mansoura and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills, with proficiency in using CRM tools specifically tailored for medical reps.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Veterinary Medicine, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a senior sales leadership role within the medical cosmetics or dermo-pharmaceutical field is required; fluency in relevant local languages is a plus.
